New reporting obligation for transport in Romania-RO e-Transport

Regarding UIT number for Romania which applies from 1st july 2024. The information that needs to be communicated to the customer in  Romania and included in the shipping documents is as follows:

Seller

Number of pallets/ packages

Gross weight

Value of the goods

What kind of goods

Truck och trailer number (you receive this information from us)

Which border and on which day the truck will cross specified border( you receive this information from us)

This applies if the goods have a gross weight of over 500 kg or alternatively if the goods weigh less but have a value that exceeds EUR 2000. The sender/receiver of the goods in Romania communicates this information, which then generates a UIT number. This UIT number is created when the goods are loaded and is valid for15 days.
